Case IH Luxxum 120 parts

A mudguard that rattles, a mirror arm snapped off against a gateway or a rear linkage switch that only works when it feels like it: these are the jobs this page is made for. You can choose from more than 70 new replacement parts for the Case IH Luxxum 120, from GRANIT, Walterscheid, Scharmüller, ZF and LUK.

Switches and electrics

  • Push button switches, such as the front PTO switch with connection cable and plug.
  • Rocker switches for raising and lowering the rear linkage.
  • A hand brake switch, NOX sensors and alternators.

Mudguards, mirrors and steps

For the outside of the cab there are mirror arms, pivot hinges and springs for the mudguards, handles for the rear screen, a step and number plate lighting. If a swivelling mudguard no longer follows the wheel or hangs crooked, look at the spring and the pivot hinge first. A broken spring makes the hinge work harder and wear faster, so it pays to replace the two together.

Hitching and trailer air brakes

At the back there are ball drawbars, ball hitches, bushes and connector heads for the trailer air brakes. Keep the dust caps on the connector heads closed when nothing is hitched and check the rubber seal inside each head. A hardened seal hisses when you couple up and lets the trailer brake pressure drop.

Switches, sensors and the alternator

If the rear linkage switch works one day and not the next, check the plug behind the panel first, as damp and dirt corrode the contacts. If cleaning does not help, carefully lever the rocker switch out and clip the new one in, keeping the plug the same way round. A NOX sensor in the exhaust is replaced when the engine reports an aftertreatment fault traced to the sensor. Loosen the old one with the exhaust still warm and use high temperature anti-seize on the new one.

An alternator that has stopped charging properly shows up as a battery that struggles after a few days standing. Check the belt and the connections at the back before replacing it, and compare the pulley on the new unit with the old one.

Finding the fit and other Luxxum models

The identification plate confirms a Luxxum 120, and the reference number on the old part points to the right replacement. The Luxxum 100 and Luxxum 110 from the same range have their own pages, so check each tractor separately. Every Case IH model is listed under Case IH parts.
