This overview lists more than 350 parts for the Case IH Maxxum 110, filtered for this model and including electrics, trailer couplings and lighting.
Play in the steering is one of the first things you notice as a Maxxum 110 gets older, so this page starts with the ball joints before moving on to cooling, electrics and the cab. In total there are more than 350 Case IH Maxxum 110 parts here.
Park the tractor on level ground, have someone turn the steering wheel slowly back and forth with the engine running, and feel each ball joint with your hand. If you feel a knock or movement before the wheel follows, that is where the play is. A split dust boot lets in dirt and water, and the joint wears quickly after that. When replacing one, the taper and thread must match the old joint. Tighten the nut to the specified torque and do not forget the split pin. Have the toe-in checked afterwards, because a new joint rarely sits exactly where the old one did.
For the cooling system there are radiators and viscous fan clutches. If the radiator looks grey and matted from the outside, blow it clear with compressed air from the engine side outwards. A fan clutch that barely pulls the fan round on a hot engine lets temperatures climb under heavy work. Crankshaft seals, seals and sealing rings, for the hydraulic pump and pistons among others, keep the oil where it belongs. Alternators and tank caps complete the engine side. To test the fan clutch, turn the fan by hand on a cold, stopped engine. It should move with smooth, light resistance. If it freewheels or binds, the clutch is worn.
Drawbars for hitching up are on this page too. The parts come from GRANIT, ROCKINGER, GRAMMER, Sauermann and Cobo.
The data plate confirms that you have a Maxxum 110. After that, the reference number on the old part settles it, especially for ball joints and sensors. The Maxxum series has more models, each with a page of its own: Case IH Maxxum 115, Case IH Maxxum 125, Case IH Maxxum 150, Case IH Maxxum 140, Case IH Maxxum 130 and Case IH Maxxum 100. There are also the Maxxum 145 and 135. For the whole brand, see Case IH parts.
