Ball joints and a steering sensor are available for the MXM 155. To check a ball joint, grab the track rod with the wheels on the ground and move it firmly by hand. Any play you can feel or hear in the joint means it should be replaced, and if both sides are the same age it makes sense to do them together.
The torsion damper sits between the engine and the transmission and absorbs vibration. If you hear a rattle at idle that disappears when you press the clutch or engage the PTO, the torsion damper is a likely suspect. Engine parts include a starter motor, a fan clutch, a seal kit and an exhaust manifold gasket.

The fan clutch lets the fan turn according to engine temperature. With the engine cold and stopped, spin the fan by hand. It should offer some resistance and must not rattle or leak oil. If it spins as freely as a loose wheel, the clutch no longer grips. If you suspect the starter motor, check the battery, its terminals and the earth cable first, as they are often the real reason for slow cranking.
A seal kit contains the rings and gaskets needed for a complete repair. Always fit the whole kit, even if an old ring still looks fine, because aged seals harden and rarely seal again once disturbed.
