If the driveline of your MXU 115 rattles at idle or clunks as the clutch takes up, the torsion damper between engine and transmission deserves a look first. Replacing the torsion damper means splitting the tractor. While it is apart, inspect the splines on the shaft the damper slides onto. Worn splines will wear out a new damper early.
For the rear linkage there are lift arm shaft seals and complete seal kits. If oil is weeping from the lift arm shaft, clean the shaft and feel for a groove where the old seal ran. A new seal on a grooved shaft soon leaks again. Always fit the lip facing the oil. Separate sealing rings and ball joints for the front axle complete this area. Play in a ball joint shows up quickest when someone rocks the steering wheel while you watch the front wheel.
A leaking linkage seal kit often shows itself before oil appears on the floor, as an implement slowly sinks while the tractor is parked. Replace the full kit in one go, otherwise the neighbouring ring will start leaking a few months later. Deburr sharp edges on grooves and bores before fitting, and cycle the lift fully a few times afterwards before checking the oil level.
