More than 200 parts for the Case IH Puma 165 Multicontroller are listed on this page. Trailer couplings, electrics and lighting are the best represented groups.
The Case IH Puma 165 Multicontroller has a page of its own, separate from the standard Puma 165. Everything here, more than 200 replacement parts from GRANIT, ROCKINGER, Cobo, MAHLE and FEBI, is matched to the Multicontroller version.
At the rear there are automatic drawbar hitches and Piton Fix couplings. A worn locking pin or a jaw that no longer closes cleanly is something you notice when hooking up a heavy trailer, and it is not a part to leave until it fails.
For the electrical system there are alternators, sensors such as the PTO speed sensor, push button switches including the one for the front PTO, and oil pressure switches, for instance on the steering circuit. Before replacing a sensor, check its plug and cable. Corroded pins or a chafed wire throw the same fault as a failed sender, and cost far less to put right.
That tank cap is worth a second look. When dust or chaff blocks the vent, a vacuum builds up in the tank and the engine is starved of fuel during long heavy work. A Puma that loses power after a few hours of cultivating and recovers once the cap is cracked open is showing exactly this symptom.
When a hydraulic pump fails, find out why before fitting the new one. Contaminated oil is a common cause, and without an oil change and a fresh filter that dirt goes straight into the replacement. Prime the pump with clean oil before the first start so it never runs dry. Brake discs are best replaced on both sides together, so the tractor stays straight under braking. An idler pulley that rattles or runs hot should be changed along with the belt, since both have done the same hours.
The type plate carries the full model designation, so check it before ordering. For switches, senders and alternators, the number on the part you removed is a reliable reference to search the shop with. If your tractor turns out to be the standard Puma 165 or another model from the range, use its page instead:
