Alongside the compressor there is a pressure switch for the aircon line, supplied with connecting cable and plug. If the compressor keeps cycling on and off, the cause is often that switch or a low refrigerant charge. When you replace the compressor, have an air conditioning specialist evacuate and recharge the system, and renew the drier at the same time so moisture does not attack the new unit.
The multi-rib belt drives the engine auxiliaries. Always route it according to the diagram on the engine and check the tensioner and idler pulleys while you are at it.
For cooling there is a radiator cap, for the fuel tank a tank cap. In the drivetrain you will find external plates for the Hi-Lo unit, plus a seal kit and a hydraulic sensor.

A quick tip on the radiator cap: never open it on a hot engine. The cooling system is under pressure and hot coolant can spray out. Wait until the engine has cooled, then turn the cap a quarter turn first so the pressure escapes gently. If the rubber seal on the cap is hard or cracked, replace the whole cap. The same applies to the tank cap, as a failed seal lets dirt and water into the fuel. With the external plates for the Hi-Lo unit, it is wise to renew the complete plate pack during an overhaul rather than a few single plates.
Start with the type plate, then compare the number on the old part. On a multi-rib belt the rib count and length are printed on the back. For an aircon compressor, compare the pulley, groove count and connections, and for a tank or radiator cap the thread and diameter of the old cap.
