The New Holland T4030 is the tractor that gets used every day for feeding, shunting trailers or taking the mower down the road. On a machine like that you want it to fire up first time and you want the lights to work. There are standard starter motors and gear reduction starters for the T4030, together with relays and micro relays in the starting circuit. Before swapping a starter, check the battery terminals and the earth strap between engine and chassis, because a corroded earth sounds exactly like a tired starter. If the relay clicks but the engine does not turn, the starter itself is the likelier cause. When choosing a new one, compare the number of teeth and the direction of rotation with the unit that comes out.
For road travel there are indicator and position lights, rear lights and mirrors. A gas strut for the windscreen keeps the screen properly open on warm days. Replace the struts as a pair so both sides push equally.
