On this page, more than 200 parts fit the New Holland T6.165 from the T6 Series, including trailer couplings, electrics, steering and front axle items.
A T6.165 spends most days with something hitched behind it, be it a tipping trailer, a slurry tanker or a bale trailer, so a lot of its upkeep is about the hitch. This page has more than 200 new New Holland T6.165 parts from GRANIT, Scharmüller, ROCKINGER, Sauermann and Walterscheid.
You will find automatic drawbars, Piton Fix hitches, top drawbars, drawbar frames and height adjustable adapter plates, plus a swinging drawbar retrofit kit for anyone who wants a hitch in the linkage. Check the coupling pin and the lock on every hitch at regular intervals. A pin with a worn shoulder, or a lock that no longer closes fully, should be replaced straight away, and the same goes for the guide in the frame. Grease the sliding parts of a drawbar frame regularly so height changes stay easy and the frame does not seize with rust.
For cooling there are radiators and fan clutches. A radiator packed with dust and chaff will make the engine run hot in summer. Blow it out with compressed air from the engine side outwards, at low pressure so the fins do not bend over. If the engine still runs hot afterwards, check the fan clutch and thermostat before replacing the radiator.
On the electrical side there are transmission oil temperature sensors, separate temperature sensors, contact switches for the gearbox and push button switches, including one for the front PTO. Mirrors, tank caps and gas struts round it off. A tank cap that no longer seals lets moisture and dirt into the diesel, which shows up later as fuel filters clogging sooner than they should. If the front PTO switch only works now and then, check the plug and cable first, as that is often a quicker fix than expected. A mirror with cracked glass or a loose mount is not worth putting off either, certainly not with a wide implement on the road.
The type plate and serial number tell you exactly which model you have. For drawbars and frames, measure the existing hole pattern so the adapter plate or hitch really suits your tractor. For a sensor or switch, compare the connector and the reference number on the old part.
Other tractors in the T6 series have their own pages with the parts that fit them:
