This selection for the Case IH Maxxum 135 holds more than 140 parts. Trailer couplings, electrics, and steering and front axle parts top the list.
A warning on the display, air conditioning that only blows warm air, steering that feels heavier than it used to. On a Maxxum 135 many repairs start with a complaint like that. This page holds more than 140 parts that fit this model, from GRANIT, Scharmüller, GRAMMER, MAHLE, Sauermann and others.
On the electrical side there are NOX sensors for the catalyst outlet, temperature sensors, alternators and air conditioning compressors. A NOX sensor is often replaced too soon. Check the connector, the wiring along the exhaust and the fuse first, because a chafed cable throws the same fault code as a failed sensor. A new aircon compressor should always go in with a new receiver drier, and the system needs flushing and refilling with the correct amount of oil and refrigerant. Skip that and debris from the old circuit will quickly ruin the new compressor. Before swapping the alternator, disconnect the negative battery lead, and check the belt tension once it is back in place.
For the steering there are hydraulic steering cylinders, seal kits for overhauling them, and ball joints. If a steering cylinder leaks at the rod, a seal kit is usually enough, provided the rod itself is smooth and shows no pitting. Keep everything clean while you work, since a single grain of sand under a new seal can undo the job within weeks. A ball joint with play shows itself as a tractor that no longer holds a straight line.
At the back there are hitches, hitch frames, top hitches, drawbars and adapter plates. Measure the rail width and pin on your own tractor before choosing a hitch. In the cab the range covers Maximo tractor seats from GRAMMER and heated air suspended seats from PROBOSS. If an air seat keeps sinking slowly, the air spring or one of its small hoses is usually leaking. Listen for the hiss with the compressor running before you write off the whole seat. A new hitch frame or top hitch lets you rebuild the rear coupling when the old frame shows cracks or its guides are worn out.
The rating plate and serial number tell you which version you need. If the old part still has a reference number on it, compare it with the details shown for the product. The Maxxum line includes other models, each with its own page so you can check per tractor what fits: Maxxum 110, Maxxum 115, Maxxum 125, Maxxum 130, Maxxum 140 and Maxxum 150.
