Lighting, trailer couplings and electrics lead the range for the John Deere 3200. In all, more than 200 parts for this 3000 series tractor are listed here.
It is often the small bits that keep a John Deere 3200 running. An O-ring worth pennies that has gone hard can cost you an afternoon of downtime. So alongside seats and lights, this page carries the seals, bushes and shims that always seem to be missing halfway through a repair. In all there are more than 200 parts, from GRANIT, HELLA, Cobo, LUK and GRAMMER among others.
For the engine and fuel side there are O-rings, for instance for the feed pump, gaskets such as the air receiver gasket, and seals including the flywheel housing seal. Hose is sold by the metre so you can make up a split line to length. Always cut the hose square and fit it with new clips, as old clips have often lost their grip.
A secondary air filter is here as well. That inner element is the engine's safety filter and should never be blown out or knocked clean. Replace it, and while it is out, cover the opening so no dust drops into the intake. O-rings are never reused either. A new ring with a light film of clean oil slides into place without twisting.
For the cab there are window locks and bushes for the cab window mounting. A window that rattles or no longer closes properly often just has a worn bush. You will also find an air suspended tractor seat, rocker switches for the dash, headlights, a beacon and work lights, including a flood beam. If you work a lot at dusk, an extra work light at the back of the cab makes a real difference.
At the rear there is a drawbar with ball, and for the driveline there are thrust bearings and shims.
John Deere has many models with similar numbers, so check the type plate first and note the model and serial number. You will need those when a part exists in several versions.
If the old part is still on the bench, turn it over. On John Deere components the reference number is often cast or stamped in, sometimes printed on a tag or label. For lamps, look at the mounting and the number of pins in the plug.
For other models from the brand, head to John Deere parts, where each model has its own page.
