From lighting to steering and front axle components: this page brings together more than 190 parts for the John Deere 4755, including trailer couplings.
Air in the fuel line, a sticking thermostat, a seat that has long since given up: the jobs on a John Deere 4755 are familiar ones. This page collects more than 190 replacement parts that fit the 4755, from GRANIT, GRAMMER, HELLA, ROCKINGER and VICTOR REINZ.
If the temperature gauge stays low long after the engine has warmed up, the thermostat is probably stuck open. If it climbs too high, it may be stuck shut. Either way, replacing it is quicker than chasing other causes, and the gasket should be renewed at the same time. Thermostats and their gaskets are both available here.
After a filter change or running the tank dry, the fuel system has to be bled. Open the bleed screw on the filter housing, work the hand pump until fuel comes out without bubbles, then close the screw. If the pump feels stiff or will not build pressure, it is worn and due for replacement.
Lighting covers headlights, LED work lamps and rear lights with indicator and brake light. For the cab there are tractor seats, including air suspended seats and GRAMMER Maximo Professional seats, plus brackets for mounting. Before ordering a seat, measure the mounting holes under the old one. Drawbars are available for the rear.
If a rear light stops working, check the bulb and the earth connection of the housing before ordering a new light. Green corrosion on the contacts is often enough to make it fail. External plates are replaced as a set. Soak new plates in the specified oil for a while before fitting, so they do not run dry against each other at first use.
A stop cable that feels stiff is often dry inside or routed with a kink. Run the new cable in wide curves, away from hot parts, and adjust it so the lever on the pump reaches the full stop position.
Read the rating plate to confirm you have a 4755. Then use the old part. Stop cables and external plates often carry a John Deere reference number, and thermostats are marked with their opening temperature. Compare those details with the description on this page.
Within the John Deere range, the 4755 is one of the 55 series tractors. Parts for the brand's other tractors are under John Deere parts.
