More than 180 items fit the John Deere 5075M. Work through the lighting, trailer coupling and electrics groups to find the part you are looking for.
A 5075M heading out on the road with a trailer or tipper has to see well, be seen clearly and brake the trailer smoothly. For this John Deere from the 5M series, this page brings together more than 180 parts from GRANIT, HELLA, Sauermann, Walterscheid and ROCKINGER.
For the trailer air brakes there are connector heads and trailer control valves. At the rear sits the ball-type drawbar for the rail system.
If you hear air escaping as soon as the trailer is coupled, look first at the rubber seal inside the connector head. Sand and grit work their way in and damage it. Close the covers on the connector heads whenever nothing is hooked up. The seal then lasts much longer and you will be fitting new heads far less often.
For the view behind you there are rear-view mirrors and wide-angle mirrors. With mirrors, check if you need the left or the right side. For lighting you will find headlights with dipped and main beam, LED work lamps and spotlights. Relays and micro relays switch these circuits, and when a lamp refuses to come on, the relay is a quick first check.
Under the bonnet the focus is on engine oil pressure sensors, temperature sensors and a gear reduction starter. For the brakes on the tractor itself there are O-rings for the master brake cylinder. In the cab you will find door gas struts and cab door hinges.
A gear reduction starter draws a heavy current when cranking. When replacing it, check the main cable to the starter and the earth connection too, because a poor connection will make the new starter turn just as sluggishly as the old one. Temperature and oil pressure sensors often sit where oil and dirt collect. Clean around the sensor before unscrewing it so nothing drops into the engine, and tighten the new one with care, as the thread in the block is more delicate than it looks.
The type plate shows you are working on a 5075M. Use the reference number on the old part as well, as long as it is still legible. The 5075M shares the 5M series with several other models, each with a page of its own: the John Deere 5100M, 5090M, 5085M, 5105M, 5070M and 5115M. If you run more than one, you can order for each machine separately. The 5095M sits in this series too. The full brand is under John Deere parts.
