Search by model and see more than 400 parts for the John Deere 5100M, a 5M series tractor, including electrics, trailer couplings and lighting.
The more than 400 John Deere 5100M parts on this page range from starters, alternators, relays and lighting to belts, gaskets, thermostats, sensors and hitch parts, from GRANIT, HELLA, Sauermann, MAHLE and Wabco.
LED work lights and headlights fit the 5100M for working after dark. When replacing a headlight, check whether the plug and bulb type match before you fit it, and aim the new light so it does not dazzle oncoming traffic. Gas struts hold the door and windows in place, sensors report values such as fuel level, and bushes are available for parts like the balancer shaft. A ball hitch drawbar fits at the rear.
Starter motors, gear reduction starters, alternators and micro relays are all available here. If the engine cranks slowly, measure the battery voltage while cranking and check the earth cable between the engine block and the chassis. Only once those are sound does the starter become the suspect. If the battery is not charging properly, look at the alternator and at the belt that drives it.
There are individual multi-rib belts and complete belt kits. Whether your tractor has air conditioning determines which belt you need, so check that first. A practical tip: take a photo of the belt routing before you remove the old one. On a wide belt running over several pulleys, that photo can save half an hour of trial and error. Check the tensioner pulley too, since a rattling tensioner will wear out the new belt quickly.
Thermostats look after the cooling and air conditioning circuits, and gaskets such as the intake manifold gasket cover the engine. O-rings come in many versions, including one for the master brake cylinder.
Check the serial plate for 5100M. The serial number next to it is useful when a part changed during production of the same model. After that, the old part itself is your best guide, because its reference number pins down the exact version. On an alternator or starter it is on the unit's own plate, and on a belt it is printed on the back.
The John Deere 5075M also belongs to the 5M range. The following models have their own pages with the parts that fit them.
