Working on a John Deere 6110 from the 6010 series? More than 650 parts are listed here, including lighting, trailer couplings and electrics.
The John Deere 6110 belongs to the 6010 line and on many farms it is the tractor that simply goes out every day. After plenty of hours, the same areas keep asking for attention. This page lists more than 650 parts that fit the 6110, from brands such as GRANIT, HELLA, Scharmüller, ROCKINGER and Wabco.
If the plate pack in the front axle slips or chatters, swapping only the worst plate rarely pays off. Plates wear together, and one new plate among old ones gives uneven pressure and faster wear. Replace the complete pack, measure the overall thickness and compare it with the figure in the workshop manual. Before fitting, soak the new plates for a while in the same oil that goes into the axle, so the friction lining is saturated before it takes its first load. While the axle is open, check the seals as well, because a leaking shaft seal will contaminate a fresh pack in no time.
On the cab, the door is often the first thing to complain. If it hangs crooked or needs a hard slam to shut, check the hinges. A worn hinge lets the door drop, so the latch no longer catches cleanly and the rubber seal lets in draughts and dust. Fit a new hinge and then line the door up properly in its frame again.
Start with the tractor's type plate so you know for certain it is a 6110. On axle parts, the axle maker's reference number is often marked on the part itself or on the axle plate. For belts, it matters whether your tractor has air conditioning, and a thermostat usually has its opening temperature and number stamped on the rim. Put the old part next to the new one before you start fitting.
