John Deere 6120R parts in a single overview, with more than 180 items for this 6R series model. Expect trailer couplings, lighting and steering components.
On plenty of farms a 6120R spends much of the year in front of a tipping trailer, a forage wagon or a slurry tanker. So this page starts at the back of the tractor. You will find more than 180 John Deere 6120R parts here, from GRANIT, Scharmüller, Walterscheid, Sauermann, Wabco and others.
For coupling up there are ball hitches, hitch frames prepared for a swinging drawbar, and forced steering parts such as an insert for the Pick-Up Hitch. That insert lets a steered trailer axle follow the tractor neatly through a bend. For trailer air brakes there are Wabco coupling heads. The red head is for the supply line and the yellow one for the brake line. Keep the covers on the coupling heads closed whenever nothing is hooked up, because dirt and water inside the head are the quickest route to a leaking seal. If a head hisses after coupling, replace the small rubber sealing ring first before condemning the whole head.
Around the engine the list includes V-belts, gaskets, seals, O-rings for the fuel line and bushes for the balancer shafts. NOX sensors for the exhaust aftertreatment are on this page as well. Before taking a belt off, note exactly how it is routed. A photo on your phone is enough, especially when several pulleys and a tensioner are involved. Once the new belt is on, turn the engine over by hand a few times and check that it sits straight in every groove. If the old belt has glazed sides, look at the tensioner too, as a weak one will let the new belt slip just as quickly.
For the front axle there are track rods and axial joints. When replacing a track rod, measure the length of the old one, set the new one to the same length and have the toe-in checked afterwards. In the cab there are door gas struts, LED work lights and lockable fuel caps.
The 6120R belongs to the 6R series. To identify the right version, start with the rating plate and the serial number. If the old part still shows a reference number, compare it with the product details. Other tractors from the same series have their own pages, which helps if your fleet also includes a bigger 6R: John Deere 6130R, John Deere 6155R, John Deere 6175R, John Deere 6195R, John Deere 6215R and John Deere 6250R.
