John Deere 6125M parts

The John Deere 6125M relies heavily on electrics, and a failed relay or a sensor with a corroded plug can knock out an entire function. Meanwhile the hitch at the back does its work every single day. On this page you will find more than 300 parts for the 6125M that cover both sides of the tractor, from GRANIT, Sauermann, Scharmüller, ROCKINGER and HELLA.

Hitching and forced steering

For the rear there are automatic drawbars, drawbar frames and forced steering parts, including parts for a ROCKINGER drawbar frame. Forced steering parts come in left and right versions, so check which side you need. With a drawbar frame, match the rail width and the pin diameter to the system already on the tractor.

Electrics and sensors

  • micro relays and changeover relays
  • temperature sensors
  • sensors for fuel and engine oil pressure
  • a contact switch for the parking lock
  • LED work lights

Fault finding tip: if you suspect a relay, swap it temporarily with an identical relay from a function you can do without for a moment. If the fault moves, you have found the culprit. Before replacing a sensor, unplug it and inspect the pins. Green corrosion on the contacts gives exactly the same warning as a dead sensor.

For the engine there are O-rings for the fuel line, V-belts and oil seals. In and around the cab you will find handles, plugs and a fender bush.

The multi-rib V-belt should run straight and taut over every pulley. A brief squeal on a cold start is a reason to inspect the tensioner and the ribs. Chunks missing from the ribs or frayed edges mean the belt is due, and it is worth spinning each pulley by hand to feel for a rough bearing before fitting the new one. A broken grab handle at the cab steps is a quick swap that makes climbing in and out safe again.

Check the type plate to be sure you are working on a 6125M. Relays and sensors almost always carry a number on the housing, and seals and bushes often have a reference number stamped in. Match that against the items on this page.
