Which parts fit the John Deere 6130M? This page lists more than 300 of them for the 6M series, including trailer couplings, electrics and lighting.
Pull a trailer with forced steering behind a 6130M and the rear of the tractor takes a lot of punishment. This page lists more than 300 parts that fit this model, from GRANIT, Scharmüller, ROCKINGER, Sauermann and Walterscheid covering everything from the hitch to the sensors on the engine block.
An electrical fault often starts with a relay. There are micro relays for the 6130M, and the easiest way to test one is to swap it with an identical relay from another slot in the fuse box. When the problem follows the swapped part to its new position, that part is the one to replace. You will also find contact switches, an engine oil pressure sensor and coolant temperature sensors.
For the rear there are drawbars, including ball versions, complete drawbar frames and flange hitches. There are also forced steering parts, such as the right hand connection for a ROCKINGER drawbar frame. When you replace a frame, fit new mounting bolts at the same time. Old bolts are often stretched, and a frame that does not sit tight against the tractor starts to work loose.
The front axle has two kinds of joint: ball joints at the outer ends of the track rod and axial joints at the inner ends. Both are available for this model. Play is quickest to find with two people. One moves the steering wheel back and forth with the engine running, the other puts a hand on each joint and feels where the knock is. With an axial joint, check the rubber boot too. If it is split, grit gets in and a new joint will be worn again within a season.
The rest is small but still needed: O-rings for the fuel line, V-belts, tank caps, fender bushes and work lamps for long evenings in the field.
The type plate shows the model and serial number. For drawbars and frames, the reference number on the old part is your best guide, especially on ROCKINGER or Scharmüller systems, where it is often stamped into the frame. For sensors, look at the thread and connector of the one you remove.
More models from the 6M series have their own page: the John Deere 6100M, John Deere 6110M, John Deere 6120M, John Deere 6140M, John Deere 6155M and John Deere 6195M. Two more members of the 6M family, the 6115M and the 6175M, are not linked here. That way you keep track of what fits each tractor. The whole make is under John Deere parts.
