A focused selection of more than 70 parts for the John Deere 6250R from the 6R series, including electrics, lighting and trailer couplings.
Keeping a John Deere 6250R working comes down to filters, belts, starters and the air system. This page lists more than 70 John Deere 6250R parts, from the cab filter to the starter motor.
The air dryer cartridge strips moisture out of the compressed air before it reaches the brake reservoirs. Once it is saturated, water collects in the tanks and eventually in the trailer brake valves. Drain the air tanks regularly. If water comes out when you do, the cartridge is due for replacement. In winter this also keeps valves from freezing. Writing the date of the last change on the cartridge itself saves guesswork at the next service.
For starting there are starter motors and gear reduction starters. You will also find a multi-rib belt kit, a valve cover gasket, O-rings for the fuel system and camshaft bushes, with FEBI and INA among the brands. A lockable fuel filler cap protects the diesel tank.
Clean cab air starts with the cab filter. Change it more often when you work in dusty conditions such as mowing or on dry arable land. There are also wiper blades, GRANIT rear-view mirrors, temperature sensors and powerful LED work lights, including oval versions. At the back a drawbar frame in John Deere green fits, and Walterscheid and Scharmüller are represented too.
Wiper blades harden in sun and frost. Streaks on the glass or a blade that judders across the screen are the signal to replace them. Clean the window properly first, because grit under a new blade scratches the glass. Change the blades together rather than one at a time so the wipers clear the full width equally well.
The serial number on the type plate of your 6250R is the starting point for any order. After that, the reference number on the old part is the best check. Filters, starters and air dryer cartridges almost always have it clearly printed.
The other types in the 6R series have their own pages with the parts that fit them, useful if your farm runs more than one 6R:
The John Deere 6125R and 6145R are part of the same series. For those and all other models, go to John Deere parts.
