More than 600 matching parts for the John Deere 6430, a tractor from the 6030 series. The range includes trailer couplings, lighting and electrics.
Plenty of John Deere 6430 tractors spend their working life in front of a trailer, and the more than 600 John Deere 6430 parts on this page reflect that. Alongside engine and cab components there is a solid selection of hitching and towing parts.
For trailers with forced steering there are ball connections for both sides. At the rear you can fit drawbar frames and ball drawbars, including ones from Sauermann and Scharmüller. On forced steering, grease the ball and socket regularly and check the locking clip. Play in that joint stops the trailer tracking cleanly behind the tractor on corners, and the trailer tyres wear out early.
Engine parts include O-rings, for instance for the oil pump, gaskets such as the one for the exhaust gas recirculation valve, seals, sensors and alternators. Multi-rib belts cover the belt drive. When you change a belt, spin the tensioner and idler pulleys by hand. A pulley that feels rough or noisy will chew through a new belt in no time.
The cab is covered with hinges, seals for door hinges and pull handles, and GRAMMER tractor seats. Headlights and work lamps come from HELLA. On the electrical side there are micro relays, and bushes take care of pins and shafts that have developed play.
When a function drops out for no obvious reason, the work lights or the fan for example, a micro relay is a good first suspect. Swap it temporarily with an identical relay from another circuit. If the function comes back, you know exactly where the fault lies. Sagging cab doors are another common annoyance on a busy tractor, and fresh hinges with new seals stop the door from rattling and keep dust out.
Check the type plate before ordering. The serial number tells you exactly which 6430 you are working on. The reference number on the old part is an even more reliable check. Belts, gaskets, relays and alternators nearly always have one, printed or stamped.
The 6430 is part of the 6030 series, which also includes the 6030PR versions. The other tractors each have a page of their own so you can see per machine what fits:
The John Deere 6534 belongs to this group too. Every other model from the brand is listed under John Deere parts.
