At the rear you can replace drawbars with a ball, drawbar frames and adapter plates. For trailers with a steered axle there are forced steering components, such as an insert that converts a ball hitch to a K50 connection. Fit depends on the rail width and pin diameter of the linkage already on your tractor, so measure before you order.
Connector heads and trailer control valves cover the air brake side. If you hear a hiss when coupling up, the rubber seal inside the connector head is a more likely culprit than the line itself. Keep the heads clean and close the dust cover whenever no trailer is attached, since grit and moisture wear that seal quickly. When replacing a head, check the colour: red is for the supply line.
If you are fitting a new aircon compressor because the old one seized, flush the system and fit a new receiver drier. Otherwise metal debris left in the lines will go straight through the replacement.
At busy times an 8530 often keeps going well after dark. LED work lights give plenty of light while drawing little current, which takes load off the alternator when the air conditioning and beacons are running as well. When swapping old halogen lamps for LED, check that the mounting and plug match, and aim the lamps so they do not dazzle oncoming traffic. A beacon makes the tractor easier to spot when you move wide equipment on the road.
