Cab and accessories, lighting and electrics for the John Deere 9620 all sit on this page. More than 110 parts are listed for this 9020/9020T series model.
During the season a 9620 often works well into the night. The lights have to work, the cab has to stay cool and no relay can let you down. There are more than 110 parts for this tractor from GRANIT, HELLA, MAHLE, Denso and Cobo, and many of them deal with exactly those jobs.
LED work lights and halogen work lamps, headlights, rear lights and beacons cover the lighting. Switching to LED usually eases the load on the alternator, but still check switches, plugs and fuses, because a poor connection stays poor however good the new lamp is.
A beacon with a push-on pin sits in a fixed holder. Keep the pin and contacts clean, as corrosion makes the light flicker over every bump.
An aircon compressor is available for the cab climate system. If the old compressor has failed internally, replace the receiver drier and flush the system when fitting the new one, or the debris will end up inside it. Add the correct amount of compressor oil as specified for the system. Thermostats, V-belt tensioners and alternators look after cooling and the belt drive.
Engine sensors, among them the oil pressure sensor, plus relays and solenoid switches are listed too. An oil pressure sensor that raises false alarms is more than a nuisance, since sooner or later a real warning gets ignored.
If the starter only clicks, a solenoid switch or relay may be to blame. Check that voltage reaches the switch before you replace the starter motor itself.
Gas struts for the hood, tank caps, hydraulic oil filters and seals round things off. A hood that creeps down while you work in the engine bay is a hazard. Replace both struts together and fit them in the same orientation as the old ones. When changing a hydraulic oil filter, keep everything as clean as possible and top the oil up to the mark afterwards.
The type plate will tell you whether the tractor is a 9620 from the 9020 series. On an aircon compressor or alternator the number is on the housing or a tag. Compare it with the reference number shown with the product, and check the pulley and the number of grooves. With lights, note the side and the mounting. Other John Deere models each have their own page and are grouped by series under John Deere parts.
