For the driveline there are gear wheels for the gearbox, shafts such as the PTO input shaft, sealing rings and thrust bearings. Clutch plates and complete clutch kits cover the clutch itself.
Ball joints and track rods are the steering parts that wear first. Have someone turn the wheel back and forth while you watch each joint. If the housing moves relative to the pin, the joint is due. After replacing a track rod or ball joint, always reset the toe-in, or the front tyres will wear out quickly.
Radiators and cooling fans keep engine temperature in check. A radiator clogged on the outside with chaff and dust cools poorly, so blow it out regularly from the inside outwards. Alternators are available too.

Renew any sealing rings and thrust bearings you come across on the way, so a minor leak never forces you to strip the box a second time.
Read the type plate first so you know for certain the tractor is a TD5.85. For gear wheels and shafts, the reference number on the old part is the safest point of comparison. If it can no longer be read, count the teeth and check them against the product details.
