Matched to the John Deere 6125R from the 6R series: more than 250 parts covering trailer couplings, lighting and electrics, neatly sorted by product group.
The oil pressure warning comes on. Is the engine really short of pressure, or has the sender simply failed? Questions like that are behind a lot of the work on a 6125R. This page holds more than 250 replacement parts that fit the John Deere 6125R, from GRANIT, ROCKINGER, Scharmüller, Sauermann and Walterscheid.
Never swap an oil pressure sensor on a hunch. Remove it, screw in a mechanical gauge for the time being and read the pressure at idle and at higher revs. If the reading is healthy, the fault lies in the sensor or the wiring, and a new sensor will cure it. If the pressure really is low, the problem is deeper inside the engine. Use a new seal when refitting.
Gas struts should always be changed in pairs. A new strut working next to a weak old one ends up carrying the whole load and wears out early.
Gas struts lose pressure gradually and cold weather shows it first. A window that will not stay up on a frosty morning is the usual sign. Fit new struts the right way round, which for most is with the rod pointing down.
At the rear there are ball-type drawbars, drawbar frames, flange hitches and trailer couplings, together with forced steering parts with a lock and connector heads for the trailer air brakes.
The engine balancer shaft runs in bushes that wear over time. A knock, unfamiliar vibration or oil pressure that drops noticeably when hot can all point that way. Replacing them is a workshop job because part of the engine has to come apart. While it is open, renew the O-rings and seals in the same go, which saves a second strip-down and a second oil fill.
Model and serial number are on the type plate. For sensors, relays and alternators, the reference number on the old part is the quickest route to the right replacement. The 6125R belongs to the 6R series, but parts from other 6R models do not automatically fit, so each has a page of its own. The John Deere 6150R is part of the same range.
For every other model, see John Deere parts.
