From lamps to trailer couplings, the John Deere 6534 of the 6030/6030PR series is covered here with more than 600 parts, electrics included, sorted by model.
More than 600 parts fit the John Deere 6534, and many of them only come into view once the bonnet is up for a service. Belts, gaskets, sensors and the alternator are what you tend to run into during a thorough check. Makes on this page include GRANIT, Sauermann, HELLA, GRAMMER and Scharmüller.
For the front of the engine there are multi-rib belts and complete belt kits, plus a thermostat for the radiator and the air conditioning. One detail with the multi-rib belt is often overlooked: whether your 6534 has air conditioning decides which belt you need. While you are at it, check the tensioner and the pulleys. A belt running on a wobbling pulley wears on one edge and can jump off.
An oil pressure sensor that throws an occasional warning is quicker to replace than to keep second-guessing. Clean the thread and the connector when fitting the new one and make sure the cable does not rest against anything hot.
For the cab there are tractor seats, gas struts and seals for door hinges and pull handles. Those seals look minor, but a perished one lets in dust and draughts. Work lamps and headlights with dipped and main beam give light in the field and on the road. At the rear, forced steering parts fit as well.
Forced steering with balls on both ends wants regular greasing. Include the ball joints in every greasing round and check that the dust boots are intact. A split boot lets grit in, and the ball can be worn out within a season.
The 6534 belongs to the John Deere 6030 series. The serial number on the type plate tells you exactly which type you have. Many John Deere parts carry their own number, and it is worth comparing that with the parts on this page before you order.
Other types in the 6030 series have their own page:
