Everything that fits the John Deere 8260R from the 8R/8RT series: more than 200 parts, including trailer couplings, lighting and electrics, sorted by model.
A John Deere 8260R covers a lot of road miles with heavy trailers and machinery behind it. A good share of what we carry for this model is therefore about hitching up, braking and being seen. This page holds more than 200 replacement parts from GRANIT, Sauermann, HELLA, ROCKINGER and Scharmüller.
For the hitch there are ball drawbars, complete drawbar frames and parts for forced steering. If you pull an air-braked trailer, you need sound connector heads and a working trailer control valve, and both are available here.
A tip on the connector heads: red is the supply line, yellow is the brake line. Check the rubber seal in each head for cracks every time you hitch up. A head that hisses quietly does not just waste air, it makes the compressor work longer and slows the response of the trailer brakes. Keep the dust flaps closed when nothing is coupled so dirt cannot get in.
On the road and in the field after dark, you want to see clearly and be seen. There are work lamps, LED versions included, and beacons for the cab roof. A seal for the door hinges and pull handles keeps draughts and dust out of the cab.
Under the bonnet you will find sensors such as the one for engine oil pressure, temperature sensors for the inlet manifold, O-rings for the fuel line and gear reduction starters. For the air conditioning there are aircon compressors, and for the steering there are ball joints.
The type plate on your 8260R carries the serial number we need when we track down a part together. Sensors and valves nearly always have a number printed or engraved on them. Compare it with the product details before ordering, especially for electrical parts with a specific plug.
The 8260R is part of the 8R series. The John Deere 8295R, John Deere 8310R, John Deere 8320R, John Deere 8335R, John Deere 8345R and John Deere 8370R from that series each have a page with their own parts. The 8285R and 8360R belong to the same line. For every other tractor from the make, go to John Deere parts.
