Replacement parts for the John Deere 8295R from the 8R series, all in one place: more than 200 items, including trailer couplings, lighting and electrics.
An 8295R usually has something heavy on the back, so the link between tractor and trailer has to be sound: the hitch, the trailer air brakes and the forced steering. This page brings together more than 200 replacement parts for the John Deere 8295R from the 8R/8RT series, made by GRANIT, Scharmüller, ROCKINGER, Sauermann and GRAMMER.
For coupling up there are drawbars with ball, a drawbar frame and adapter plates for the rail. For trailers with forced steering there is an insert for the Pick-Up Hitch. The trailer air brakes run through connector heads and a trailer control valve. Keep the connector heads clean and close the cover when nothing is hooked up. A damaged rubber seal inside the head leaks air and makes the trailer brake late. Replacing that seal takes only a few minutes.
On long days a good seat makes all the difference. There are air suspended tractor seats, including GRAMMER models. For night work there are oval LED work lamps, also in a spotlight version.
You will also find a gear reduction starter, a fuel feed pump, sensors, steering ball joints and seals. If the engine turns over slowly in the cold, check battery voltage and earth cables before you blame the starter.
A trailer with forced steering only tracks neatly behind the tractor when the system is set up correctly. After fitting a new insert for the Pick-Up Hitch, check that the trailer runs straight behind the tractor and readjust according to the trailer maker's instructions where needed. An insert with play makes the trailer wander, both forwards and in reverse. Grease it lightly and inspect it at every tractor service. The same goes for the trailer control valve: if you hear air hissing after you park, spray the lines and fittings with soapy water to find the leak.
Check the type plate to confirm the tractor is an 8295R, then compare the reference number on the old part. For a ball joint, look at the thread and length marked on the old one, and for a work lamp at the bracket and plug.
Other types in the 8R/8RT series have their own pages too. If you run several of them, these links take you to the list for each type:
