You will find left and right headlights, rear lights and work lamps, among them a round lamp with its own switch, plus mirrors. After fitting a headlight, check the aim against a wall with the tractor on level ground and the tyres at the correct pressure. A lamp pointing too high dazzles oncoming traffic even when there is nothing wrong with the lamp itself.
When the roof window no longer stays open on its own, the gas strut has had its day. Fit the new one with the piston rod pointing down so the seal stays lubricated and the strut lasts longer. For the fenders there are springs and fender brackets, and the fuel tank gets a new tank cap.
Engine parts include a cylinder head gasket, a thermostat gasket, a vibration damper and an alternator. An aircon compressor keeps the cab cool, there is a brake disc for the brakes and a top drawbar for hitching.
If the aircon compressor fails, replace the drier as well and flush the lines, because debris from the old compressor will soon ruin the new one. At a major service, also look at the vibration damper on the crankshaft. Once its rubber is cracked or swollen it stops damping, and the crankshaft takes the punishment.
With a head gasket, thickness matters. Measure piston protrusion before ordering, because the right gasket depends on that reading. Use new head bolts if the workshop manual calls for them and tighten them in the prescribed sequence, in stages.
