We carry more than 350 parts for the Deutz-Fahr AgroXtra 4.57. Work through the trailer couplings, electrics and lighting groups to find what fits your tractor.
An AgroXtra 4.57 kept in daily work will eventually need its engine, clutch or brakes going through. This page brings together more than 350 parts that fit the Deutz-Fahr AgroXtra 4.57, with brands such as VICTOR REINZ, LUK, ROCKINGER, HELLA and GRANIT, so a rebuild can be planned in one go.
Fixed calipers are available for the brakes. After fitting one, bleed the system and check that the brake frees off completely when released, as a dragging caliper overheats quickly. For the linkage there are lift shaft sealing rings for the left and right side.
Cylinder liner shims, crankshaft seals, exhaust gaskets, further seals and a repair set for the feed pump cover the engine. Shims set how far each liner stands proud of the block. Measure that protrusion at several points around the liner once it is fitted. If it is out, even a brand new head gasket will not seal reliably.
When fitting a crankshaft seal, avoid running the new lip on the exact groove the old one wore into the shaft. Oil the lip lightly and press the seal in squarely. A dry lip on a worn track will start leaking again before long.
Clutch kits and thrust bearings, from LUK among others, cover the clutch. Always fit a new thrust bearing with a new clutch. Splitting the tractor a second time for one bearing is a job nobody wants. With the clutch out, inspect the flywheel for scoring and heat cracks.
Starter motors, alternators and a V-belt handle starting and charging, and a push button switch controls the work lamps. Check the tension of a new V-belt again after the first hours of running, since a new belt stretches slightly as it beds in. In the cab there are tractor seats and gas struts for the door and windows.
Start with the rating plate to be sure the tractor is an AgroXtra 4.57. Seals often carry their size moulded on the ring itself, while starters and alternators have a reference number on the housing. That number is the fastest way to match an old part with one on this page.
The Deutz-Fahr AgroXtra 6.07 from the same range has its own page. If you run both, order for each type separately. All other tractors from the make are listed under Deutz-Fahr parts.
