Is there a Deutz-Fahr AgroStar 6.11 on your farm? Here are more than 250 parts for this model, including electrics, lighting and trailer couplings.
Stripping the engine on an AgroStar 6.11 is a job you want to do once, with every gasket and seal on the bench before you start. This page lists more than 250 parts that fit the Deutz-Fahr AgroStar 6.11, from GRANIT, HELLA, VICTOR REINZ, MAHLE and Walterscheid.
The shim under the collar of each cylinder liner sets how far the liner stands proud of the block. Too little protrusion and the head gasket is not clamped properly, which leads to a blown gasket. During a rebuild, measure the protrusion of every liner with a dial gauge and choose the shim thickness from that reading. Reusing the old shims without measuring is a gamble, as they settle over the years. Then torque the cylinder head down in the correct sequence and in stages.
The electrical side is covered with alternators and starter motors. For the driveline there are clutch plates, including versions with a torsion damper. The hydraulics get sealing rings for the lift shaft, and the brakes get fixed calipers supplied complete without lining. In the cab you will find door locks and gas struts for the door and windows, and at the back there are drawbar frames.
One more workshop habit: a new crankshaft seal can leak if its lip runs in the groove worn by the old one. Clean the shaft, oil the lip lightly and, if the groove is deep, press the new seal in slightly less far so it runs on clean metal.
The serial number of your AgroStar 6.11 is on the type plate. For engine parts the engine type matters as well, and that is marked on the block. The reference number on an old alternator, starter or caliper makes the comparison with the parts on this page straightforward.
The AgroStar series includes these tractors, each with its own page:
If you run one of them next to the 6.11, check fitment on that model's own page. Older Deutz tractors and other ranges are on the page with all Deutz-Fahr parts.
