Need a seat, a light or a trailer coupling for the Deutz-Fahr 5100 C? This page lists more than 40 parts that fit this model, sorted into clear groups.
If a 5100 C has lost pulling power or whistles as it accelerates, the air side of the engine is the obvious place to start. This page carries a remanufactured turbocharger, air hoses to the intercooler, radiator hoses and a V-belt tensioner. In total there are more than 40 parts for this tractor, made by GRANIT, Sauermann, HELLA, GRAMMER and Dayco.
Turbos rarely fail for no reason. Oil starvation or dirty intake air is usually behind it. Change the engine oil and filter before the new unit runs for the first time, and make sure the oil feed pipe is clear. Prime the turbo with clean oil before fitting it, then let the engine idle for a while after starting. Inspect the intercooler hoses at the same time. A split hose or an oily film inside points to a leak that will otherwise stay with you.
Feed pumps, a fuel pressure sensor and a rail pressure sensor kit cover the fuel side. For the block there is a cylinder, a cylinder head bolt and an oil seal. Press a new oil seal in squarely using a suitable drift, because a seal that sits at an angle will soon weep.
A fuel pressure sensor sending false readings can leave you with hard starting or an engine in limp mode. Check the plug for corrosion and the lead for chafing before replacing the sensor itself. Work on the fuel side with clean hands and clean tools, and cap open connections at once.
Fender brackets with springs, LED tail lights and rear indicators look after the outside, and a drawbar inner part is available for the hitch.
A V-belt tensioner that rattles or jerks lets the belt slip and squeal. Replace it as soon as the roller has play or feels rough, and inspect the belt for fine cracks and glazed flanks while you are there.
The type plate shows the tractor as a 5100 C from Series 5 C. A turbocharger nearly always has a tag or stamped number on its housing. Compare it with the reference number listed with the product, and do the same for sensors and the cylinder. For hoses, hold the old one next to the product photo and compare the shape and connections.
Each Deutz-Fahr model has its own page showing only the parts for that tractor. For the rest of the brand, start from the Deutz-Fahr overview and work down by series.
