Seat worn out or trailer coupling due for replacement on a Deutz-Fahr 5100 G? More than 40 parts for this 5 G series tractor are here, engine parts included.
The list for the 5100 G is compact, with more than 40 parts that fit the Deutz-Fahr 5100 G. It covers hitching, cooling and engine parts, and a few items for the fenders. The makers are GRANIT, Walterscheid, Sauermann and GRAMMER.
For the cooling system there is a water pump, a water pump seal, an expansion tank cap and temperature sensors. The belt drive is covered by a V-belt tensioner and an idler pulley.
When you fit a new water pump, give the tensioner and idler pulley some attention as well. Spin each one by hand. Any rumble or roughness means the bearing is worn, and with the belt already off, this is the time to replace them. After refilling, check the coolant level again once the engine has been warm.
Engine parts include injectors, a cylinder, exhaust seals and NOX sensors. Every injector goes back in with a new sealing ring under the nozzle, and the seat in the cylinder head should be cleaned thoroughly first.
A temperature sensor that reads wrong can confuse the engine management. Change it with the engine cold and catch the coolant that runs out. While you are there, look at the rubber ring on the expansion tank cap. A cracked ring cannot hold pressure, and the cooling system suffers for it.
At the rear you can choose ball drawbars, a Walterscheid ball hitch, top drawbars and Piton Fix hooks. Measure the rail width and the pin diameter on your own tractor's frame before ordering so the new part slots in. A little grease on the guide keeps the frame adjustable, and after every change of height, make sure the locking pin has fully engaged.
If a fender has caught a gatepost or a hedge on a narrow track, there is a fender bracket and a fender spring here too.
Check that the rating plate reads 5100 G and write down the serial number. Water pumps, tensioners and injectors normally carry a reference number, stamped into the metal or on a label. Compare it with the number in the product description before you order. If you cannot find one, a photo of the old part will help us.
Right now the 5100 G is the only model from the 5 G series with a page of its own. For other models from the brand, including the other ranges, go to Deutz-Fahr parts.
