Browse more than 50 replacement parts that fit the Deutz-Fahr 5120 from the 5 series, including trailer couplings, lighting and electrics.
A Deutz-Fahr 5120 spends much of its working life pulling something, so wear tends to show at the back end first. A drawbar with play, a locking pin that no longer drops in cleanly, a tail light that has gone dark. This page holds more than 50 replacement parts that fit the 5120, made by Walterscheid, GRANIT, Sauermann, HELLA and GRAMMER. Hitching gear makes up a good share, with parts for cooling, charge air, fuel supply and the fenders alongside.
You will find drawbars with a ball, ball hitches, a top drawbar and Piton Fix units, together with support plates and adapter plates that set the coupling at the right height in the rail.
Before ordering, measure the inside width of the rail and the diameter of the locking pin on your tractor. Both vary between hitch parts, and a piece that is nearly right will rattle or refuse to lock. If you are moving from a clevis to a ball hitch, check the drawbar eye on the trailer as well.
Hoses and pumps usually carry a reference number moulded or stamped into them, and matching that number from the old part is the quickest route to the right replacement. For anything on the engine, keep the model and serial number from the type plate to hand.
One practical point: if the intercooler hose is oily inside, have the turbo and the crankcase breather checked before simply swapping the hose, and fit new clamps while you are at it.
Lights and fenders deserve a look too. An LED tail light that flickers or only half works often has a corroded plug rather than a failed lamp. Clean the contacts, add a little contact grease and check the earth before fitting a new light. When a fender starts to shake or hang crooked, the spring or the bracket is usually the first thing to have gone.
The 5120 belongs to the Deutz-Fahr 5 series. Each neighbouring model has its own page, which helps when a yard runs more than one of them:
Older Deutz-Fahr tractors and the rest of the range are on the Deutz-Fahr parts page.
