On many mixed farms the Agroplus 410 is the tractor that does a bit of everything, from feeding to carting. At the rear you can choose between a drawbar, a Piton Fix, a top drawbar and a trailer coupling. A good work lamp often fails at the earth connection rather than the bulb, so clean the earth point and the plug contacts before you condemn the lamp.
Engine parts include a cylinder head gasket, an alternator and a vibration damper, and there is an air conditioning compressor for the cab climate system.
A failing head gasket often shows itself through coolant that disappears without a visible leak, or bubbles in the expansion tank. Before fitting the new gasket, have the head and block checked for flatness. Tighten the head bolts in the correct sequence and to the torque given in the workshop data for the tractor. Skipping that step is the quickest way to a second failed gasket.
Look at the type plate to confirm the tractor is an Agroplus 410. For engine parts and the alternator, the reference number on the old part is your best point of comparison against the details listed with each item.
The vibration damper on the crankshaft has a rubber layer between its inner and outer ring. If that rubber shows cracks, or the rings no longer run true to each other, replace the damper before it comes apart. When the air conditioning compressor fails, have the system flushed before the new compressor goes in. Debris left behind by the old unit can otherwise damage the new one quickly. A cracked headlight lens is also worth dealing with early, as moisture gets in and attacks the reflector.
On the top drawbar and trailer coupling, clean and lightly grease the locking mechanism now and then so it latches reliably and does not seize in winter.
