Lighting, trailer couplings and electrics are part of the more than 250 items that fit the Deutz-Fahr Agrotron 100, alongside many other parts on this page.
Oil weeping from the valve cover, coolant slowly disappearing or bubbles in the expansion tank: on an Agrotron 100 with a few hours on the clock, trouble often starts at a gasket. This page lists more than 250 new Deutz-Fahr Agrotron 100 parts, with VICTOR REINZ and Elring for the gaskets, alongside GRANIT, HELLA and ROCKINGER.
For the engine there are cylinder head gaskets, valve cover gaskets, air receiver gaskets and crankshaft seals, plus seals for the hydraulic pump. Head gaskets come in different thicknesses, and the one you need depends on how far the pistons stand proud of the block. Copy the marking on the old gasket, and measure piston protrusion again if the block or pistons have been machined or replaced. A gasket that is too thin can let the pistons touch the valves.
There are V-belts and starter motors for the engine. A belt that squeals on start-up or shows glazed flanks is due for replacement, and a new one should be re-tensioned after the first hours of work. Lighting is covered with work lamps and toggle switches for the driving lights.
If the starter turns slowly, measure battery voltage first and check the earth cable and terminals. A poor connection looks exactly like a worn starter from the outside. When fitting a new valve cover gasket, tighten the bolts evenly and not too hard, or the gasket squeezes out and starts leaking again.
Gas struts hold the roof window and rear window open. When a window no longer stays up, replace both struts together so they push evenly. You will also find ball joints, wide-angle mirrors, automatic drawbars and Piton Fix hitches. A worn ball joint shows up as play in the steering wheel and a tractor that wanders on the road.
The type plate tells you which Agrotron you have, which matters because many Agrotron models look very similar from the outside. With gaskets, compare the shape and bolt holes with the old one, and look for a reference number on the old part.
Other Agrotron models have separate pages with the parts that fit them:
All Deutz-Fahr tractors are listed under Deutz-Fahr parts.
