An air seat that keeps sinking usually has a leak in the air bag or in the hose to its small compressor. With the engine off, listen for escaping air and check the power plug before writing off the whole seat.
A fan clutch that no longer engages lets the engine run hot during heavy work even with a clean radiator. On a cold engine, the fan should turn with some resistance by hand. If it spins freely or there is oil around the clutch, it needs replacing.

When a hydraulic pump delivers less than it should, check the hydraulic filter and the oil level first. A blocked filter or air in the suction line gives the same symptoms as a worn pump. Fill a new pump with clean oil before fitting so it does not start dry. Work lamps with a cracked lens are best replaced straight away, since moisture attacks the reflector. Cylinder head and valve cover gaskets always go onto clean, dry faces, with the bolts tightened evenly in a crosswise pattern. On the front axle ball joints, watch the rubber boots, because once a boot splits, dirt gets in and the joint does not last long.
