Got a Deutz D 6207 on the farm? This page lists more than 200 parts that fit it, including trailer couplings, electrics and lighting.
Planning an engine overhaul on a Deutz D 6207, or does only the clutch need to come out? This page has parts for both jobs. In total there are more than 200 new parts that fit the D 6207, from GRANIT, HELLA, LUK, Walterscheid and VICTOR REINZ.
For the engine there are cylinder head gasket sets, crankshaft seals, shims for the cylinder liners and exhaust gaskets. On the exhaust side you will also find exhaust manifolds. Starter motors, alternators and tank caps are here too, among them a lockable tank cap with a breather.
One place where a head gasket job often goes wrong is the head bolts. Tighten them in the prescribed sequence, from the centre outwards, and in several stages up to the correct torque. Pulling one bolt fully tight in one go distorts the head, and the new gasket may soon blow. When fitting cylinder liners, measure how far they stand proud of the block as well. That is what the shims are for.
For the driving clutch there are thrust bearings. In the lift, sealing rings for the lift shaft, bushes for the lift arm and tension springs play their part, and for the hydraulics there is a hydraulic pump. A bolt set for the steering valve helps anyone who has had the steering apart. At the rear there are drawbars.
With a starter motor, look at more than the shape. Count the teeth on the pinion and check the direction of rotation and flange size, so the new starter meshes properly with the flywheel ring gear. If the lift sits crooked or a lift arm has visible play, the lift arm bushes are often worn. Replace them left and right at the same time.
The type plate shows exactly which model you have, and that matters with Deutz, because from the outside the tractors in the 07 series look much alike. If a part is already out, look for the reference number on it. Crankshaft seals and sealing rings can also be measured and checked against the product details. On a hydraulic pump, also check the direction of rotation, left or right, because a pump turning the wrong way will not build pressure.
If you also run another model from this series alongside the D 6207, its parts are on a page of their own:
