Engine parts, trailer couplings and electrics are among the more than 110 parts listed for the Deutz-Fahr Agrotron TTV 420, all grouped under this one model.
On a stepless tractor such as the Deutz-Fahr Agrotron TTV 420, an uneven fuel supply shows up straight away in how the machine drives. A leaking injection line, a feed pump that cannot keep up or a rail pressure sensor reporting wrong values, and the engine starts to hunt. That is why the fuel system comes first here. Overall this page has more than 110 parts for the TTV 420, from GRANIT, ROCKINGER, Sauermann, Walterscheid and VICTOR REINZ.
There are feed pumps, injection lines, O-rings for the injection pump and a sensor kit for rail pressure. Keep this part of the engine as clean as you can and cap off open lines and ports the moment they are disconnected. A speck of dirt in an injector causes more trouble than the leak you set out to fix. Injection lines are formed for one fixed route, so do not bend them to make them fit and never start the union nuts at an angle.
From VICTOR REINZ and other makers come valve cover gaskets, front engine gaskets and crankshaft seals, together with individual seals and bolts for the exhaust aftertreatment. Tighten a valve cover in a crosswise pattern and with restraint. Overdoing it distorts the gasket and creates the very leak you were trying to cure.
For the cab there is an aircon compressor, gas struts for the front or rear window and mirrors. At the rear you can fit drawbars, top drawbars and Piton Fix, including parts from ROCKINGER and Walterscheid.
If the aircon compressor has to come out, replace the receiver drier too and flush the lines when the old compressor has failed internally. Metal debris from a broken compressor spreads through the circuit and will otherwise destroy the new one quickly.
The TTV 420 belongs to the Deutz-Fahr Agrotron TTV series. Check the type plate before ordering and look for a reference number on the part you are taking off. With gaskets and seals in particular, that number is often the only reliable way to tell two similar looking parts apart.
The other types in the TTV series each have a page of their own:
