For the braking system there are master brake cylinders, wheel brake cylinders and repair kits. A leaking master cylinder usually gives itself away through a pedal that slowly sinks under steady pressure, or a damp patch at the back of the cylinder. A repair kit with new seals can be enough, but if the bore shows scoring or rust, fit a complete cylinder instead. Replace wheel cylinders on both sides of an axle at the same time so the tractor brakes straight, and bleed the system carefully afterwards. Clutch kits are available as well.
A sticking thermostat shows up as a gauge that hardly rises, or as an engine that runs hot under heavy load. Always fit a new gasket when you change it. Then top up the coolant with the engine running until the thermostat opens, so no air stays trapped in the system.
