The heavy jobs on a Valtra 6200, also sold as the Valmet 6200, tend to be on the engine. Among the more than 150 parts on this page are remanufactured turbochargers, seals between the exhaust manifold and the turbo, a water pump repair kit, O-rings for the lift pump and alternators.
New turbochargers usually fail for the same reason the old one did: lack of oil. Before connecting a replacement, fill its oil inlet with clean engine oil, change the engine oil and filter, and make sure the oil return line is clear. After the first start, let the engine idle for a minute before putting load on it. Always fit a new manifold gasket at the same time.
The water pump repair kit makes sense as long as the housing is sound. If the shaft has noticeable bearing play, a complete pump is the better choice.

An alternator that stops charging is not always at fault. Measure the battery voltage with the engine running and check the belt and charge cable first. Only when those are in order does the regulator or alternator come into question. When changing a ball joint, count the turns as you remove the old one so the toe-in stays roughly the same, then have it measured anyway.
A flasher unit ticking too fast often means a blown bulb somewhere. Replace the unit only once every bulb checks out.
Hardened O-rings on the lift pump let air into the fuel system, so the engine starts poorly or dies under load. Renew them at the next filter change and bleed the system carefully.
Because the same tractor was sold under two names, the identification plate with the serial number is the place to start. Turbochargers and alternators usually carry a label or engraved number of their own, which lets you compare old and new side by side.
