This page is devoted to the Valtra N 141 of the N1 series, with more than 130 matching parts. Trailer couplings, electrics and lighting are among them.
On a Valtra N 141, much of the work happens under the bonnet. A good share of the more than 130 parts on this page concern the engine and its surroundings: a remanufactured turbocharger, the seal between exhaust manifold and turbo, engine seal kits, crankshaft seals and cylinder head bolts. For cooling and climate there are radiator hoses and air conditioning compressors.
When you fit a turbocharger, always renew the manifold seal at the same time. An old gasket that has already been compressed once will not seal properly, and an exhaust leak at the turbo costs pulling power and coats the engine bay in soot. Check the oil feed and return lines for dirt or kinks, and pour a little clean engine oil into the turbo oil inlet before the first start. Then let the engine idle first, so the bearings are lubricated before you open the throttle.
Any work on the cylinder head calls for new cylinder head bolts. They are loaded into their stretch range when tightened and cannot be reused reliably. Tighten them in the prescribed order and in several stages.
Outside the engine bay you will find cab door locks, flasher units, headlights, including LED headlights with dipped and main beam, and flood beam work lamps. For the driver there are GRAMMER tractor seats. At the rear there are ball drawbars and separate balls, from makers such as Scharmüller and Walterscheid. A stiff door lock often gets a second life with a little penetrating oil and some working back and forth. Only replace it when the latch no longer catches. If an indicator suddenly flashes at double speed, a bulb has usually failed. If nothing flashes at all while bulbs and fuse are fine, the flasher unit is the first suspect.
Check the type plate to confirm that it really is an N 141, and keep the old part next to you. The reference number on a turbocharger, compressor or headlight is the quickest way to the matching replacement. With hoses, shape matters: a radiator hose for the top connection has a different bend from the one for the bottom.
From the same N range, the Valtra N 91, Valtra N 101, Valtra N 111 and Valtra N 121 each have their own page with the parts for that model. To look further across the brand, go to Valtra parts.
