If the compressor is replaced, have the system evacuated and recharged by a workshop with the right equipment. Moisture left in the circuit will kill a new compressor quickly. Run the air conditioning briefly now and then in winter too, so the seals inside the compressor stay oiled. And set a new air suspended seat to your own weight, or it will bottom out on every bump.
