Servicing your Valtra T 144 starts with the right part. Choose from more than 50 items here: trailer couplings, electrics, and brakes and transmission parts.
A Valtra T 144 earns its keep in front of heavy trailers, and that work shows up in two places sooner than anywhere else: the cooling circuit and the hitch. This page brings together more than 50 parts that fit this tractor, made by GRANIT, Scharmüller, Walterscheid and Wabco, with some carrying the Massey Ferguson name.
At the back you can rebuild or upgrade the pick-up system with drawbars, adapter plates, support plates, Piton Fix pins, a Pick-Up Hitch and screw-in ball adapters. For trailers with a self-steering axle there are forced steering components as well. In the cab, a replacement rear-view mirror is available.
If the engine on your T 144 runs hot, or never quite reaches working temperature, the thermostat is the obvious first suspect. Replace the housing seal at the same time, because a flattened old seal rarely holds a second time. While the system is drained, squeeze each radiator hose along its length. A hose that feels soft or has cracks near the clamps is worth changing now rather than halfway through harvest. Refill slowly and run the engine with the heater open until all the air has worked its way out. If the gauge still wanders afterwards, test the temperature sensor and check its plug for corrosion.
The tractor's data plate confirms the model, but for cooling and engine components the reference number stamped or printed on the old part is the safest thing to match against the details shown with each product on this page. For drawbars and Piton Fix, measure the rail width and pin diameter on your existing linkage before ordering.
The T 144 shares the Valtra T4 series with several siblings. Each of them has its own page with the parts that fit that model:
