Do you run a Valtra T 214? For this T4 series model we have gathered more than 50 parts, including electrics and brake and transmission parts.
When the temperature gauge on a T 214 starts creeping, the question is always the same: thermostat, hose or sensor? This page lists more than 50 parts for the Valtra T 214, and a good share of them deal with the cooling circuit and engine management. Think temperature sensors, thermostats, radiator hoses and belt tensioners. There are also NOx sensors for the exhaust aftertreatment and a lockable fuel filler cap.
The top radiator hose, the thermostat and the temperature sensor are often replaced together when an engine runs hot or never gets up to temperature. The belt tensioner belongs on that list as well. A slipping belt means the water pump is not turning properly, which can look very much like a thermostat fault.
When you change the thermostat, always fit a new seal, clean the mating face and bleed the system thoroughly after filling. Then run the engine up with the cab heater open and feel whether the top hose warms evenly. If it stays cold while the gauge climbs, there is still air trapped or the thermostat is not opening. While you are there, squeeze the other hoses too. Any that feel soft or swollen are due for replacement.
For the back of the tractor there are parts from Scharmüller and Walterscheid: drawbars, screw-on ball adapters, forced steering inserts for the Pick-Up Hitch, support plates, an adapter plate and a Piton Fix. A rear-view mirror for the cab completes the picture. Measure the rail width and the mounting of what is fitted now before ordering a drawbar or ball adapter, so the new part drops straight in.
Several parts for the T 214 are shared with Massey Ferguson and Fendt models, which you will see in the product description. Your own tractor is still the reference. The type plate gives the model and serial number, and a sensor or thermostat you have taken off usually carries a reference number. Compare that number with the description on this page before ordering.
Five sister models sit next to this tractor in the Valtra T4 line. Each of the other tractors in that range has its own page, which helps when you run more than one Valtra:
Older Valmet tractors and the rest of the line-up are grouped under Valtra parts.
