Water pumps are listed together with their gaskets. On the engine side there are valve cover gaskets, seals for the valve cover, crankshaft seals, O-rings for the feed pump and a gasket between the exhaust silencer and the turbocharger. Alternators complete this group.
When a crankshaft seal starts to weep, look closely at the shaft before fitting the new one. If the old lip has worn a groove into the running surface, a new seal sitting in that same groove will not last. Drive the new seal in square with a suitable drift, oil the lip lightly and make sure it does not fold back on fitting. For the water pump, a new gasket and fresh coolant go with every replacement, and the system needs bleeding with the engine warm.
If the battery is not charging properly, the alternator is not automatically to blame. Measure the charging voltage with the engine running and check the belt, the earth strap and the plug connections first. And when a tractor seat sags or rocks, the cause usually sits in the suspension or the slide rails underneath rather than in the cushion, so look there before replacing the whole seat.
